Attendance was definitely down from last month. (the board +1) Last month over 20 people attended! It is really important that as many people as possible attend. Others can try to state your case/concerns/suggestions for you, but no one can do as good a job with your ideas as you can!
Newsletter: The deadline for the January newsletter is NOV. 15. All articles submissions need to be received in the westfieldterraestates@hotmail.com account prior to this date. Please send your ideas or articles to this account. Some ideas are: Tips on Keeping New Years Resolutions; Resolutions for the Neighborhood (your take on it); and Introducing New Neighbors. Please place Newsletter Submission in the Subject of your email.
Additional Patrol Officer: The board is considering the possibility of adding another patrol officer to our neighborhood. The steps taken at this time are: contact other subdivisions and see if we could share the cost and the officer would patrol the participating neighborhoods; contacting the contracts office to determine the total cost of one patrol office that is not shared with other neighborhoods; and requesting officers that we know to contact the HOA in the event that they or someone they know would be available to do this as a contracted individual.
Website Maintenance: Lisa Carey will continue to be the webmaster and maintain the website. It would be an enormous help to her if homeowners participate in the discussion board also, and then summaries can be provided to the board. Of course, as always email to the WFT account is welcomed and appreciated.
Holiday Decorations: The HOA has holiday decorations in storage for use at the clubhouse. There are lights, decorations, tree and ornaments. There is even a Santa suit. We need volunteers to help us decorate the clubhouse prior to our holiday potluck dinner, which is scheduled for Dec. 8th. That doesn’t give us much time! Please email your name and telephone number, SUBJECT: decorating clubhouse, to help us plan this event. The more people, the less time it takes!
Entrance Holiday Lights: The HOA/Crest has contracted decorators for this holiday season. The Board has requested that the decorators place us on the list of decorations as soon as possible after the Thanksgiving holiday so that we may enjoy them to the fullest.
Holiday Pictures: If you or your neighbor’s house will look great this holiday season, submit it for photos on the website. You can send a comment via the comment form on westfieldterraestates.org or send an email with the address of the decorated home. Let’s see how many we can have showcased on our website.
Neighborhood Watch: The neighborhood watch committee will be obtaining a street map of the subdivision, Crest will be providing it.
MUD Online Bill pay: Crest Management will be looking into the option and reporting back to the Board and neighborhood.
